Brown Bronze IX inspired two larger sculptures, Hornblower and Celestial Messenger, the latter of which was purchased by Hangzhou government in China and is displayed in Qianjiang New City.
Hornblower was first exhibited at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 1998 as part of Michael Lyons' retrospective. The sculpture was made with assistance from Mayflower Engineering, Sheffield.Exhibitions
